Lady Mary Farquhar McCrae of Lochaber had a special treat in store when she arrived at Lamlash House for what she thought was a small get together to celebrate her 90th birthday.
In addition to a red carpet welcome, champagne on arrival and music beautifully performed by harpist Charlotte Sager from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, over 30 family members and close friends were there to help join in the celebration to mark this very special event.
Lady Mary remarked that the only thing older than her on the day was Lamlash House which celebrates its 120th anniversary in 2010!
