Autumn at Lamlash House

Signs of autumn are now seen throughout the garden at Lamlash House... from the fallen apples, the fading green grass to the variety of leaves strewn from the trees.

12th Irvine Valley Walking Festival

For the third year, Lamlash House welcomes participants in the 2014 Irvine Valley Walkfest.

Once again Ian Pollock leads the walking tour of Newmilns and points out the various locations of historical significance along the way.

The stained glass windows at Lamlash House have been admired by walkers on previous years.

 

Photo Shoot

On Easter Sunday, Lamlash House was pleased to host a wedding photo shoot.

 

The house was set up for a wedding event photo shoot with Siglo V photographers.

Presentation to Kyle and Carrick Civic Society

The restoration works at Lamlash House were featured in an hour long presentation to the members of the Kyle and Carrick Civic Society on Monday 3rd of March.

The capacity audience enjoyed the illustrated talk which was followed by an enthusiastic question and answer session. 

In the vote of thanks, the Chair of the Civic Society commended the restoration works and indicated that these were an "inspiration" given the extent and timescale of the works over a period of eight years.

It was further suggested that the property be elevated to a Category 'A' Listed status. Praise indeed!
